A mobile safety check provider is an inspector or authorized mechanic that will come to your location to perform a safety check on your vehicle. This is especially convenient if you are unable to take your car to a safety check center.
You can schedule a mobile eSafety inspection (formerly called a “pink slip”) for your car, motorcycle, or trailer, including RVs. Mobile examiners are authorized the same way as regular safety inspection providers, and they submit their inspection report electronically to Transport for NSW.
You can schedule the time and place that is most convenient for you. For example, your vehicle can be inspected at your workplace, your home, or the location where you store your RV. As long as the inspection location is safe and appropriate, and there is an authorized mobile pink slip provider in your area. When you schedule the inspection, the service provider should explain to you how you will pay, the cost of the service, where the inspection will take place and how you will receive a copy of the safety inspection results (if relevant).
Please note that although the inspection fee is fixed in NSW, the service provider may add an additional fee for travel.
